Who We Are & What We’ve Been Doing for the last 30 Years.  

“The North Side Life Care Center is a non-profit pregnancy center, affiliated with Total LifeCare Centers.  We are dedicated to providing a respectful, caring and loving environment for pregnant women who are low-income, or pregnant women in crisis. Our services include quality prenatal care and comprehensive support services before and after birth."

Services provided directly by NSLCC include:

• • Maternity and Baby Supplies
• • Baby Equipment through the Small Steps Incentive Program
• • Referrals 

These services are usually at no cost to the client. Prenatal patients must either have medical insurance or be eligible for medical assistance.

North Side Life Care Center partners with Fairview Riverside Women’s Center in providing exceptional prenatal care and social services to our prenatal patient. Babies are delivered at Fairview Riverside Medical Center. We also partner with Cradle of Hope and Life Fund in providing financial assistance to clients who meet certain guidelines.

The Center is governed by an active working Board of Directors comprised of individuals who come from a wide range of professional disciplines. The Board maintains the viability of the organization by setting policies, raising funds, providing administrative assistance and maintenance of the facilities.

A nurse manager and an executive director are responsible for the day-to-day operations of their respective prenatal and client services programs. Program counselors and nurses work one-on-one with clients to provide mentoring services and support. Some programs are partially funded by the MN Department of Health through the Positive Alternatives Grant.
